Formula 1 Racing Teams

Hedging our betsOur designers don't flag while developing new solutions to help our favourite team to meet the new rules

This is a tricky one.  As any one who knows any thing about motor sport will tell you, Formula one is big business and it is all about sponsorship.  So when you want to shout about what you have done and for whom, to prove your worth to the other teams, it proves difficult.  What we can tell you is that The Measurements Group Vishay-strain gauge components for formula one racing teams and they recommend Synectic Design for customised signal conditioning.  This season we have been watching Grand Prix with renewed interest.

The FIA have used instruments incorporating our in cell amplifiers to ensure compliance for years.  Some teams use our amplifiers inside load cells without even knowing  they are there.

Amplifiers for Automotive

Requirement

Signal conditioning required for automotive applications with characteristic features of high stability, low operating voltage and miniature size. Add to this the need to operate with high temperatures and considerable levels of vibration.  Specially developed products are used widely in production processes as well as in the research and development process for both production cars and automotive sport.

 Solution
Amplifiers with various specification have been designed for use in the automotive industry. The amplifiers have characteristic features of low operating voltage 12Vdc, high stability, wide range of operating temperatures, +/-5V out amplifiers also available on request. Typical amplifiers include SY011 and SY028UV
Some of the automotive companies that use our amplifiers include Vauxhall, Mercedes McLaren and Formula one racing teams who insist on remaining nameless.  Some of these companies  were introduced to us by Vishay  the Measurements Group.
